InPlan Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cubetix Ltd. ("Cubetix," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use InPlan Feed Planner ("InPlan" or the "App"). InPlan helps Instagram professional-account owners preview, plan, schedule, publish, and review the performance of their content.

1. Information We Process

Instagram account information

When you connect an Instagram account through Instagram Login or Facebook Login, we use Meta's official APIs to access information you authorize, which may include:

  • Instagram account identifiers, username, profile picture, biography, and basic profile information.
  • Published media and metadata, such as posts, Reels, carousels, captions, thumbnails, timestamps, permalinks, media type, and like and comment counts.
  • Access tokens and token-expiration information required to maintain the connection and provide requested features.

Instagram insights

If you connect a professional Instagram account and grant the applicable insights permission, InPlan may retrieve account-level and media-level performance information made available by Meta. Depending on the account and media type, this may include reach, views, accounts engaged, likes, comments, saves, shares, total interactions, profile visits, and Reel watch-time metrics.

We use these insights only to show the connected account owner a Performance screen, compare selected periods, sort recent posts, calculate engagement rate, and compare a post with that account's typical performance. Insights are requested on demand, displayed in the App, and are not used for advertising, sold, or used to train artificial-intelligence models. InPlan does not send Instagram insights to an AI provider.

Content you plan or publish

When you create drafts or schedule automatic publishing, we process the media, captions, publishing time, and related settings you provide. Media and scheduling data needed for automatic publishing may be uploaded temporarily to our service providers so that InPlan can publish the content at the time you selected.

App, account, and device information

We may process an email address or anonymous account identifier for authentication, subscription status, support, and account management. With your permission, the App may access photos, videos, the camera, microphone, notifications, or local storage for features you choose to use. We also receive limited diagnostics, crash reports, performance information, and general app-interaction events used to maintain and improve the App.

AI caption features

If you explicitly use an AI caption feature, the text or other content you submit to that feature may be sent to the configured AI service to generate the requested result. Instagram insights are not included in those requests.

2. How We Use Information

We process information to:

  • Connect and display your Instagram professional account and published content.
  • Provide feed preview, planning, drafts, reminders, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Display account and per-post performance analytics to the connected account owner.
  • Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, provide support, and communicate service-related information.
  • Protect the App, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

3. Storage and Retention

Instagram feed data and insights are primarily processed in the App. Insights are retrieved on demand and are not persisted in Cubetix's backend systems.

To support scheduled publishing, InPlan may store encrypted connection credentials, publishing instructions, captions, and uploaded media using Firebase and Google Cloud services. Uploaded publishing media is deleted after successful publication or when the related scheduled content is removed or no longer needed. Other service data is retained only for as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Information stored locally can be removed by deleting the relevant InPlan account, clearing the App's storage, or uninstalling the App. Disconnecting Instagram prevents new insights requests from that connection.

4. Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell Instagram data or other personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the App, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Our service providers may include:

  • Meta Platforms, for Instagram and Facebook authentication, account data, insights, and content publishing.
  • Google Firebase and Google Cloud, for authentication, databases, temporary media storage and processing, app configuration, analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play, for subscription and purchase processing. Cubetix does not receive complete payment-card details.
  • AI service providers, only when you explicitly invoke an AI feature and only for the content needed to fulfill that request.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Your Choices and Controls

  • You choose whether to connect an Instagram account and which permissions to grant.
  • You can disconnect Instagram from InPlan and revoke InPlan through your Facebook or Instagram settings.
  • You can change device permissions through your device settings.
  • You can choose not to use scheduled publishing or AI features.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete a local InPlan account from the App's Settings screen. You may also request deletion of personal information held in our systems by emailing privacy@cubetix.com. Please identify the InPlan account involved so we can locate the request. We may need to verify your identity before completing deletion.

Upon a verified request, we will delete or de-identify personal information we are not required to retain and confirm completion. You can separately revoke InPlan's Meta access through your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Clearing local App storage or uninstalling InPlan removes information stored only on that device.

7. Security and International Processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

8. Children's Privacy

InPlan is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date.
